It does not keep the exact fonts, colors, images, page headers/footers or precise Word layout, and tables arrive as plain text rows. Modern .docx files only (not the older .doc format). PDFs are written with Latin-script fonts; a document in another script, such as Hindi, is refused with a clear message instead of being converted with missing text.

What carries over into the PDF?
Your text with its basic structure: headings, paragraphs, bullet points, bold and italic. Exact Word fonts, colors, images, headers/footers and precise layout do not carry over, and tables arrive as plain text rows. Simple documents - letters, resumes, reports - convert best. Check the PDF before relying on it.
Does the older .doc format work?
No. Only modern .docx files (Word 2007 and later, Google Docs exports, LibreOffice exports) are supported. Open an old .doc in Word or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is read and converted entirely on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.
What about images in my document?
Images are not carried into the PDF in this converter - you get the text content. A notice in the document text marks where an image was dropped.
