This converter carries over the data - the cell values. Cell formatting, formulas (you get their last calculated values), charts, images and extra sheets are not carried over: for a multi-sheet workbook, only the first sheet converts. Dates come out as raw serial numbers in JSON and as short date text in CSV. If a formula's result was never calculated and saved, or a number has more than 15 digits, the tool stops and names the cells instead of giving you changed or empty data.

Good to know
- Only the data moves - cell values, not formatting, charts or formulas.
- A formula whose result was never calculated and saved: the tool stops and names the cell, instead of leaving it empty.
- Numbers with more than 15 digits (long IDs, account numbers): the tool stops and names the cell, instead of changing digits. Re-enter the value as text from the original source - once digits are shortened in the file, formatting alone cannot bring them back. Text like 007 always stays text.
- Dates come out as serial numbers in JSON (e.g. 46037) and short date text in CSV; the format picker says which.
- Multi-sheet workbooks: the first sheet converts, and the tool says so.
- Everything runs on your device - nothing uploads.

What conversions are supported?
