How to edit a screenshot

Drop your screenshot, pick a tool, and drag on the image. Crop trims to the rectangle you draw; Draw sketches freehand; Arrow and Highlight mark up the important part; Text adds a label where you tap; Redact blacks out what others must not see, permanently; Blur only softens it. Undo steps back one action at a time.

Frequently asked questions

What can I do to a screenshot?
Crop it, draw freehand, add arrows and text labels, highlight areas with a translucent box, and blur or pixelate anything sensitive - then download the result as PNG or JPG.
How do I hide private info in a screenshot?
Use Redact for anything that must stay secret: it paints a solid black block over the area and the pixels underneath are permanently replaced in the downloaded image - they cannot be recovered from the file. Blur only pixelates: it hides things from a casual glance, but heavy pixelation of short text can sometimes be guessed or partially reversed, so do not rely on it for card numbers, passwords or ID details.
Are my screenshots uploaded?
No. The image loads into your browser, every edit happens there, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Does it work on phone screenshots?
Yes. PNG and JPG screenshots from phones and computers both work; large images are scaled to fit your screen while you edit.
